The Falls Rd team consisting of Serena Huang and Lee Schleifer cruised to an undefeated season with their sixth win last night, to become the 17 U MCG Junior League Spring Champions for 2024.
Jacob Vuong and Evelyn Dobbs-Sohn from Needwood picked up their fifth win at Falls Rd to take over second place in the 14 team league.
A previously undefeated team from Sligo Creek, Grey Roszkowski and Jude Fintel, were upset in their final match by Ava Jones and Catherine O’Donogue from Northwest Golf Course, and finished in third place.
17 and under MCG Junior League play, in the new two person team scramble, matchplay, format will pick up again in September.
